[origin: EP1722041A1] A method for securing the control ropes of a sun shade, blind etc. has a support arm (3) fitted to a wall mounting plate (2) and with the rope grips (4, 5) at the free end. This holds the control ropes in an easily accessible position. The wall mounting plate is secured to a wall by two threaded fasteners (6) and has forked grips (9) at the top and bottom with transverse bores (7, 8) to secure the bored ends (10, 11) of the support arm by inserting securing pins.
