[origin: GB2401310A] An attachment 10 for a cleaning appliance comprises a head 20 and a neck 30, the neck being connectable to a mouth of a wand or a hose of the cleaning appliance and having a first portion 32 which, in use, lies adjacent the mouth, and a second portion 36 which, in use, is spaced away from the mouth. The first portion and the second portion of the neck may be part-cylindrical in shape. The second portion of the neck may project outwardly from the first portion, or may project inwardly from the first portion, and may be planar. The head may have a portion which forms a continuous surface with the second portion of the neck. The attachment may be a brush tool, a stair tool or a crevice tool.
