Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2005083207A1] The invention relates to a handle (10) which comprises at least one retaining plate (16) that can be mounted in an opening in a thin wall (14) such as a sheet metal door. A head part (28), such as a flange or a turning handle, covers the edge (24) of the opening (12) of the thin wall (14) on one (external) side (26) thereof. A body part (30) extends from the head part (28) and can be slid through the opening (12) in the thin wall (14). A retaining part (34) is supported by the body part (30), on the other (rear) side (32) of the thin wall (14) and is separate from the body part. The invention is characterized in that the retaining part (34) is configured by retaining elements (36) that resiliently jut out from the body part (30) in the direction of its outer surface. Their free ends have a pitched surface (38) for supporting the body part (30) on the edge or border (40) of the opening (12) without play.
