[origin: EP1724535A2] The exchanger has a thin pressure-stable vessel for defining a longitudinal compartment. A flat multi-chamber tube (34) is provided for allowing flow of refrigerant. The tube extends through the compartment and is spaced from two opposing walls of the compartment. Heat exchange ribs (40) are provided for roughly filling the compartment between the tube and the two opposing walls, where the refrigerant flowing through the compartment between the tube and the two opposing walls does not flow through large space.
