[origin: WO2005090137A1] The invention relates to a magnetic levitation vehicle comprising a body (2) mounted on a levitation chassis (5) by means of pneumatic springs (4), said levitation chassis being supported, in turn, on pairs of levitation magnets (35A, 35B) by means of adjacent supporting points (5b). According to the invention, control devices (14) are associated with the pneumatic springs (4) in such a way that the air pressure of the springs can be automatically reduced to a pre-selected fraction of the nominal air pressure if one of the two levitation magnets (e.g. 35A) fails.
