Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2005085119A1] The invention relates to a driving pulley for a platform displaceable by means of at least two cables (5) comprising a driving pulley (13) which is driven by a motor and provided with a first groove and a second groove (17) which are embodied on the circumference thereof, a first pressure system for the first groove and a second pressure system (20) for the second groove (17) which press the cables winding around the driving pulley (13) into the corresponding grooves during operation. In order to ensure at any moment the horizontal position of the platform, said mechanism is provided with an adjusting device (30) associated with at least one of the pressure systems (20), thereby making it possible to control the location of the cable by the associated pressure system (20) or the insertion depth of the cable (5) into the groove (17).
