Abstract (en)

[origin: US2005203237A1] Articles having an exterior surface comprising an inorganic biocidal agent and a first thermoplastic resin can provide a good combination of biocidal activity and physical properties. The biocidal activity of an article or multi-layer article can be enhanced by texturizing the exterior surface of the article or multi-layer article. The surface can be texturized by calender with a textured roll, mechanical or chemical abrading, or molding in a textured mold.
