Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2005093298A1] The invention relates to a device (110) for driving a double-seat valve (1) that can comprise either closing elements (3,4) embodied as seat disks, or a first closing element (3) embodied as a slide piston and a second closing element (4) embodied as a seat disk. The aim of the invention is to design one such device (100) in such a way that it can be universally used with all of the components thereof, both for double-seat valves with two seat disks and for double-seat valves with a slide piston and a seat disk. To this end, the first drive piston and the second drive piston (102, 105) are directly arranged on the first displacement rod (3a,103), and during the formation of the closing elements (3, 4) as seat disks, the first drive piston (102) is fixed to the first displacement rod (3a, 103), and the second drive piston (105) is arranged on the first displacement rod (3a, 103) in such a way that it can be axially displaced in a limited manner, or, during the formation of the first closing element (3) as a slide piston, and the second closing element (4) as a seat disk, the first drive piston (102) is arranged on the first displacement rod (3a, 103) in such a way that it can be axially displaced in a limited manner, and the second drive piston (105) is fixed to the first displacement rod (3a, 103).
