Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2005090845A1] A joint device (1) for joining two cable tray parts (13', 13") of the kind including a number of longitudinal and a number of transversal metal wires, including engagement means for cooperation with at least two longitudinal metal wires on each cable tray part for forming a unified cable chute, is distinguished by a first engagement portion (2) for engagement with first longitudinal metal wires (14, 18), a second engagement portion (3) for engagement with second longitudinal metal wires (15, 17) and a stabilizing portion (6) having transversally directed recesses (7, 7', 9) for engagement with a transversal metal wire (19, 19', 19") on each cable tray part. The stabilizing portion (6) includes, as seen in a using position, recesses (9, 7, 7') that are separated in a vertical direction of the cable tray, and that are adapted for engagement with shank portions of the transversal metal wires, each recess having a width corresponding to one respective metal wire to be received.
