[origin: WO2005090858A1] The invention relates to a light (1) comprising an elongated housing (2), the latter (2) being equipped with connection means for at least one bulb. To simplify (1) the construction of said light (1), the housing (2) is configured from two elongated lateral parts (11), each having an upper and a lower longitudinal edge (11a, 11b). According to the invention, sections of the upper longitudinal edges (11a) are interconnected and the lower longitudinal edges (11b) run at a distance from one another and delimit a lower light emission opening (5).
