Abstract (en)
For unassisted ascent up inclined snow slopes a Nordic touring ski lower face is fitted with a carpet-like cover. The cover consists essentially of a strip (6) with an anchorage strap (9a) passing through a matching aperture near the ski toe where it is secured to an anchorage tip-sock (4) by a U-shaped hook fitting. Also claimed is a commensurate ski.
