Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1726748A2] The situation monitoring device (2) is for grip units (1) for a window or door and has a rotatable hand grip (2) and a press engagement pin (3). The device has a component (19) which is sensitive and which moves with the movement of the hand grip. Also provided is a sensor (20,21) and a corresponding connecting component (23) which converts the rotary movement of the hand grip into that linear of the sensitive or connecting component (19). A housing (11) is fitted between the hand grip and the window profile. The housing accommodates the electrical and mechanical components of the situation monitoring device. It has a baseplate (13) and a single or multi-part cover (11). The cover is centrally divisible and can be pushed onto the baseplate. The at least one connecting or sensitive component is formed as a magnet.
