Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1726756A1] The common, single-piece housing (12) accommodates the straight section (14) and the band of the corner deflection unit (8). The locking component (10) is mounted to pivot in the housing. The housing is in light alloy, being especially a zinc-based die-casting. It includes a curved groove (16) to take the band. The casing also includes a bridging section lying parallel to movement of the drive rod (5). One side of this section includes a groove for the band; the other side provides guidance to the end of the drive rod straight section. Band and straight section are connected to each other. The bridge includes a recess (19) penetrated by the coupling. Near the pivoted locking component (10), the straight section of the drive rod is bent at right angles. Here, the casing projects outwardly. The drive rod includes a block engaging behind a projection of the locking section when the latter is swung out. The block is integral with the drive rod. The projection is part of a toothed section (21) of the locking component, which meshes with a rack on the drive rod. Both the casing and its cover include opposite recesses carrying a bearing (13) of the locking component. The bearing is a peg entering both recesses, on which the locking component pivots. The casing has flanges (26, 27) for connection of a sleeve rail.
