Abstract (en)
A hinged window or door has a surrounding frame in which it is supported by hinges. The frame has a reduced-depth reverse flank with a slotted groove (5) and an L-shaped support surface (3) for the two edges of hinge support strip (7). The hinge is secured by a wedge lock (12).
