Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1727005A1] The crown has a tube (20) that is placed in a tube (30) which is formed of two parts. One of the parts of the tube (30) is fixed on a watchcase and the other part of the tube projects from the watchcase. A threaded ring (40) is provided for free rotation on the tube (30) and cooperates with a thread of an inner wall. A screw (46) is provided for blocking the rotation of the ring with respect to the tube (30). A sealing unit is constituted by a joint (42) and arranged between the tubes (20, 30). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for orienting a crown (2) a tool for mounting a crown by a crown orienting method.
