Abstract (en)
A coin-operated entertainment machine is operable by a player to play a game after a predetermined game-play stake value has been credited. If the game results in a predetermined winning outcome, a prize is awarded to the player. A limit is imposed on total stake value in a playing session. When the limit is reached the player can continue to play further games for a predetermined period of time without requiring credit of further stake value. The limit may be a time period which may periodically re-commence on a rolling basis. The machine may be of the kind with which combinations of symbols are selected with rotatable reels (9).
