Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1727168A2] The contact piece has carrier and a contact piece support (13) fastened to the carrier, where the support is made from metal alloy. An entire surface of the contact piece is covered with a layer (25) made from tin, where the tin layer is galvanically applied on the surface of the contact piece. The carrier is designed as a connecting bar of a low voltage circuit breaker and connected with a bus bar of a switching system by a screw connection. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a low voltage circuit breaker with a contact piece (2) a method for manufacturing a contact piece.
