Abstract (en)
The connector has front and rear connector assemblies (12, 14) each with isolating bodies (38, 40) disposed in cases (46, 48) respectively and made of composite metallic material. The case (46) of the assembly (12) constitutes a fixed base and has a hollow cylindrical shape with an axial cylindrical extension (50) that forms a skirt enclosing an end face of the body (38). The case (48) of the assembly (14) has a hollow cylindrical shape and an end skirt (54) enclosing an end zone of the isolating body (40) of the assembly (14). The bodies contact with each other by a sealing joint (42).

Ce connecteur blindé pour conducteurs électriques comprend un premier ensemble de connecteur (12) et un deuxième ensemble de connecteur (14) appariés, les ensemble de connecteur comprenant un corps isolant (38, 40) en matière moulée incorporant des contacts (39, 41), respectivement mâle et femelle, de fixation mécanique et de raccordement électrique d'embouts de contact prévus aux extrémités à connecter des conducteurs et un boîtier de blindage entourant le corps isolant. Chaque boîtier de blindage (46, 48) a une forme générale de cylindre creux délimitant intérieurement un passage continu de sorte que les corps isolants soient en contact l'un de l'autre par l'intermédiaire d'un joint d'étanchéité (58).
