[origin: US2008156220A1] The invention relates to a fragmentable grenade ( 1 ) including an explosive charge ( 2 ) and a layer ( 4 ) of projectiles ( 5 ), which are elastically deformable and joined by bridges of material ( 6 ) produced by moulding together with the projectiles ( 5 ). The layer ( 4 ) surrounds the charge ( 2 ) and is designed for enabling the projectiles ( 5 ) to separate and disperse when the charge ( 2 ) explodes.
