[origin: FR2867267A1] The round (1) has a bullet (2), either full calibre or sub-calibre, comprising a body (6) with a deformable tip created by an expansion ring (7). The forward end (21) of the expansion ring has a truncated conical cavity (20) that forms a narrow expansion lip (23), while its rear end has a stop (27) that presses against a shoulder (28) on the body of the bullet. In a variant of the design the bullet has an ogival outer surface.
