[origin: EP1728567A1] The assembly (10) to shape a flat metal blank (12) into a thin-wall dish (14) has a carrier structure (16), with a shaping chamber (18), to clamp the blank around its circumference (22). The rear side (24) of the blank is sealed against the leading side (26) away from the chamber. A vacuum is applied to the chamber to evacuate it and draw the blank in while a shaping tool (50) acts on the leading side. The blank and the tool rotate in relation to each other.
