[origin: EP1728753A1] The lift cabin (3) has a cabin roof (4.1) which can be lowered at least in part and in the lowered position can be stabilised against moving in the horizontal plane through a mechanical device (20) mounted between the lowered roof and inside wall of the cabin. The device can include an elbow lever tensioner which brings the mechanical device into a position where a movable end of same presses against the inside wall of the cabin. The tensioner can be influenced by a spring element so that a permissible tensioning force between the movable end of the device and inside wall of the cabin is not exceeded.
