[origin: EP1728760A1] The controller has a main connection (7) with a shut-off device that is provided with an actuating drive (14), and a control device (42). The control device has a liquid level signal generator, and gives an input signal to the actuating drive for operating of the shut-off device on a liquid level signal and/or an operator command, in order to initiate or finalize fill, removal or other operating condition of a tank container (1). An independent claim is also included for a tank container with a receptacle.
