Abstract (en)
The hinges have a hinge (10) for being installed on a sliding door of a motor vehicle, a hinge (12) mounted on a lateral opening in the vehicle, and a locking unit (26) for locking hinges (10, 12) in a locking position. The unit is adapted to maintain the hinges which are movable in rotation one with respect to the other to maintain a pivoting axis (A) in a fixed position and to free the hinges (10, 12) after the door has been pivoted.
