A light (1) comprises a light body (2) and at least one LED module (3) having a combined height of not more than 8 mm and with the light body at least partly cooling the LED module. Preferably the LED module is produced by chip-on-board technology, comprises many LEDs and has a power of at least 5 W. An independent claim is also included for an arrangement of the above lights.

Offenbart ist eine LED-Leuchte, bei der ein LED-Modul (3) auf den Leuchtenkörper (2) aufgebracht ist, so dass die Höhe von Leuchtenkörper und LED-Modul ‰ 8 mm beträgt und der Leuchtenkörper (2) zumindest teilweise den Kühlkörper für das LED-Modul (3) bildet. Dabei gelangen LED-Module mit Leistungen von ‰¥ 3 Watt zum Einsatz. Zur Spannungsversorgung sind LED-Betriebsgeräte verwendbar, die einen Außenflächenabschnitt einer Anordnung aus Leuchtenkörper und LED-Betriebsgerät bilden, wobei die Gesamthöhe von Leuchtenkörper und LED-Betriebsgerät ‰ 10 mm beträgt, und wobei das LED-Betriebsgerät bevorzugt über den Leuchtenkörper gekühlt wird.
