Abstract (en)

Hand gun has a visually readable identification strip on an identification holder (1) which is connected to an electronic data holder (8) with electronically readable identification. At least part of said electronic data holder is situated between identification holder and hand gun or on the identification holder. The electronic data holder, formed by a contact-sensitive processing chip or an RFID transponder, is embedded in a recess on the gun. The identification holder forms a functional component of the electronic data holder.
