Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2005084306A2] The invention relates to polypeptides for use as an autotransporter antigen. The invention further relates to methods and uses of a polypeptide for an autotransporter function in preparation of a medicament for the prevention or treatment of a Chlamydia pneumoniae infection or for the preparation of an assay for the diagnosis of a Chlamydia pneumoniae infection in an individual. Also, a method is provided for raising an immune response in an individual by administering to the individual a polypeptide for use as an autotransporter antigen.
