[origin: WO2005087386A1] A distributing device (1) is provided with features for distributing a highly viscous liquid, such as floor glue, in order to achieve a uniform pressure distribution in the liquid. The uniform pressure distribution ensures that substantially the same amount of glue per unit time flows out of each discharge opening of the distributing device. Said features consist of the position and size of the distribution openings (10A, lOB), which connect a predistribution chamber (4) with the main distribution chamber (2), having been chosen such that, despite a difference in pressure in the predistribution chamber, substantially the same amount of glue will flow through each distribution opening from the predistribution chamber to the main distribution chamber. The distributing device may form part of a distributing assembly. The distributing device and the distributing assembly axe in particular suitable for use for applying floor glue to a floor surface.
