[origin: WO2005096449A1] The invention relates to a zero insertion force electrical connector piece, characterised in that the zero insertion force connector piece (3) comprises one or more sleeve contacts (4), each with at least one contact region (K1, K2) and each embodied to accommodate a complementary electrical plug contact (6) and each sleeve contact (4) is provided with an activation element (11) adjustable relative to the above, such that, in the activated position thereof, the contact force is applied to the contact regions (K1, K2) of the sleeve contact (4), for contacting a plug contact (6), inserted in a sleeve contact (4).
