[origin: EP1731081A2] The dishwasher has a rinsing container (2) with a spraying arm (7) that is equipped with spray nozzles (8). The spraying arm is rotatable around an axis that is approximately vertical when the dishwasher is in usage position. Pipelines (9, 10) are provided for supplying a washing liquid to the spraying arm and/or the spray nozzles. A rotatable ring-shaped closing unit (20) opens and closes the spray nozzles for pulsed spray jets.
