Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1731202A1] The brake has right and left brake branches (1) to occupy a closed position for skiing and an open position for braking a ski. Right and left adjusting units (2, 3) have a link with elbows (1b) of the branches (1). The units (2, 3) respectively have toothed parts (2a, 3a) that allow an adjustable linking between the units (2, 3) to adjust the width of the brake by adjusting the distance between the elbows (1b). A spring (9) acts on elbows (1d) of the branches at a blade (8) to exert a force tending to pull the ends (1a) of the branches inward.
