Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1731264A2] The device has two screw clamps (3, 5) that are connected with each other over a diagonal unit, where each clamp has two clamp arms (13, 15). A clamping axis runs between the arms for clamping workpieces. A guide rail (17) holds the arms at a distance from each other. An adjusting unit (21) changes the position of clamped workpieces perpendicular to the clamping axis or the position of the clamping axis perpendicular to the clamped workpieces. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a double arrangement for arranging a device or an arrangement on a side of the workpieces (2) an adjusting unit for application in a device and/or arrangement for fixing the workpieces.
