[origin: EP1731417A2] The submarine has at least one dividing wall (2), as part of a pressure-tight body, with a door (8) to give a pressure-tight closure in a wall opening and an intermediate wall parallel to the dividing wall. The door swings on two spaced joint arms (24,28) at the dividing wall with a joint mounting (28,30) at the door and a joint mounting (54,56) at the wall. When the door is open, it is secured at the intermediate wall by a release holder.
