Abstract (en)
The needle has a latch slit (11) limited in shank longitudinal direction by an end surface (18) that is arranged between a latch support (7) and a hook (4). The end surface cuts a surface turned away from an upper side of the needle and a surface that is adjacent to rear of the needle. A distance of a surface (25) from a hook point (5) is larger than another distance from the hook point until to an end of a latch spoon when a latch (6) is arranged in a rear position. The latch is rotatably supported between a closing position and a rear position in the latch slit.
