Abstract (en)
An improved scraper strip for a snow plough blade has reinforcing strips (6) fitted to the outer edges to reduce wear and damage from roadside obstructions. The scraper strip comprises a rubber core (2) applied to a metal mounting plate (4) which is mounted onto the blade (3). The reinforcing strips are embedded into the sides of the rubber strip, e.g. via vulcanizing and extend out of the edges of the scraper. Alternately the reinforcing strips can be welded to the mounting plate.
