[origin: EP1731829A1] The headlamp has a reference mirror (4) with a focus, shifted relative to a collector mirror (1) to recover a beam emitted by a light source. An axis of a discharge lamp (8) of the source coincides with an optical axis of the mirror (4). A flat reference mirror (5) has a reflecting surface inclined such that the mirror (5) directs light from the mirror (1) to the mirror (4). A focus of the mirror (4) coincides with an image of an external focus of the mirror (1). A flat folder (6) has a reflecting surface with an edge, located near the former focus, whose image defines a cut-off of the beam.
