[origin: WO2005093161A1] Described herein are multi-function poles and methods for construction thereof. The multi-function pole (10) is composed of a base assembly (30) and a connected upper assembly (20). A housing (32) of the base assembly (30) is fixedly connected to a beam (22) of the upper assembly. Portions of the beam (22) are enclosed with an enclosure structure (24) . The enclosure structure (24) defines one or more tracks (28) that can be used to attach a fixture and/or a mounting thereto.
