[origin: EP1584791A1] The rotor for a turbo-machine, especially for a gas turbine compressor rotor, has radially extending end faces (25) on at least one shaft collar (22), and on the outside circumference (23) of the shaft collar are retaining slots (21) for rotor blades extending transversely to the circumferential direction. An axially extending annular slot (31) co-axial to the rotational axis of the rotor is provided in at least one end face of the shaft collar and is connected to the slot base (27) of each retaining slot in such a way that material of the blade root is plastically displaced into the annular slot. An independent claim is included for a turbo-machine which is especially constructed as a gas turbine.
