The machine has at least one forme cylinder with at least four printing plates (56.1-56.3) arranged adjacent to each other in the axial direction, register elements (51-54) on the forme cylinder associated with the printing plates and register elements (57.1-57.3) on printing plates that interact with the forme cylinder register elements. Die Erfindung betrifft eine Rollenrotationsdruckmaschine, beispielsweise Flexodruckmaschine, mit mindestens einem Formzylinder (06), der in axialer Richtung gesehen mindestens vier Druckplatten (56 bzw 56A,56B,56C,56D) nebeneinanderliegend aufweist, wobei am Formzylinder (06) nebeneinanderliegende formzylinderseitige, jeweils einer Druckplatte zugeordnete Registerelemente (51,52,53,54) vorgesehen sind und wobei an den Druckplatten druckplattenseitige Registerelemente (57) angeordnet sind, die mit den formzylinderseitigen Registerelementen (51,52,53,54) zusammenwirken. Jede Druckplatte (56A,56B,56C) ist mit mehreren nebeneinanderliegende druckplattenseitige Registerelementen (57.1,57.2,57.3) ausgebildet, von denen jeweils eines mit einem formzylinderseitigen Registerelement (51,52,53,54) zusammenwirkt. Die Erfindung betrifft ebenfalls ein Verfahren zum Herstellen von Druckplatten (56) für eine Rollenrotationsdruckmaschine.
