Abstract (en)
Composite floating structure which can be dismantled, comprising a pedestrian area (6) which is assembled in modules and rests solidly on modular units (1) which are connected to each other and float independently of each other, the said modular floating units (1) being suitable to create complex floating systems in liquids. The said modular units comprise a floating chamber (2) with a variable volume, filled with at least one fluid which has a specific weight inferior to that of the liquid in which the floating unit is immersed, and in which at least one wall (3) of the floating chamber itself is mobile and can be made up by the same surface of the liquid in which the unit is floating, or by a flexible (7), impermeable membrane which separates it from the said liquid, the other walls of the chamber being substantially impermeable both to the liquid and the fluid.
