[origin: EP1734175A1] The method involves separating a fibrous suspension in reject and accept fractions through filters of stages (4, 5, 6). The suspension of the stages (4, 5) is loaded with pressure that is produced by a pump. Flow rates are controlled or measured by the fractions. The flow rate of the accept fraction is only controlled or measured in contrast to the flow rate of the reject fraction which is neither controlled or measured at the stages.
