[origin: EP1734330A1] The telescopic sight mounting for small arms comprises a base and an adjuster. It is fastened in place by a swiveling latch (50) with a locking section (51) which fits into a corresponding recess. An independent claim is included for small arms, especially rifles, fitted with the mounting.
