Abstract (en)
The timepiece has a calendar mechanism (11) including a date display mechanism (12) with a date indicator (77) driven by a large lever (60). A rack (27) and a month lever (45) are arranged such that the rack carries out an idle motion at a preset distance during an inactive phase before coming in contact with a part (66) of the lever (45) during an active phase. The large lever is driven by the lever (45) during the active phase along a rotational movement in one direction and performs a drop in the reverse direction at the end of the active phase by driving the indicator.
