[origin: EP1734552A2] A locking mechanism includes a locking section (7) that can be rotated about an axis parallel to a main axis. The locking section can be made to pivot by a hand lever (2) in a temporary manner whenever an angular divergence between the hand lever and a transmission shaft exceeds a specified threshold. An independent claim is also included for an electrical switch.
