Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2005093194A1] The invention relates to a double locking system for a sliding lock, in particular for a sliding tarpaulin (10) horizontally displaceable on a vehicle like a truck, a semi-trailer or a trailer comprising a locking pillar (12) which is connected to a sliding tarpaulin (10) and is movable between the roof frame (4) and the bottom frame (6) of the vehicle, a first top locking hook (40) interacting with a top thrust bearing (60) in the roof frame (4) area and a second lower locking hook (50) interacting with the lover thrust bearing (64) in the bottom frame (6) area which are pivotally mounted on said locking pillar and connected respectively to a lock (32) disposed on the locking pillar (12) by means of actuating system (38, 42), wherein an arresting system (44) mounted on the locking pillar (12) interacts with at least one clipping system (140, 142) on the roof and/ or bottom frame (4, 6) and prevents said locking pillar (12) from sliding when it is in a stop position. The sliding tarpaulin (10) provided with said double locking system is also disclosed.
