Abstract (en)
The device has a plate comprising retaining units for a shoe, and a pivot (50) with a vertical axis comprising a pivot body (5) situated in the central zone of the plate. A central pivoting locking disc (8) has support ramps cooperating with hooking lugs integrated to a base (9), that is fixed to a snowboard, so as to retain the pivot on the base. The body has, in its lower side, a housing (17) in which the base is engaged. An independent claim is also included for a snowboard equipped with shoe retaining devices.
