[origin: EP1588850A1] The device has a support (2) fixed on a frame (1) of a printing machine in the extension of a screen printing cylinder on which a slide (3) is mounted. The slide is arranged for moving a slider block (9) provided with pins that cooperate with notches on a doctor blade for permitting to rapidly fix or remove the blade in the block. The block permits to mount or remove the blade when in a limit position situated outside the cylinder. The slide (3) is tilted for placing the doctor blade in work position and for retrieving the blade from the work position, when the slider block is in a limit position situated inside the screen printing cylinder.
