Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2005102858A1] The invention relates to a sealable container, in particular, a post container, comprising a container base (1), open upwards, made from a base wall (2) and side walls (3 to 6), preferably connected with rounded corners and a lid (7) which may be placed on the container base (1), said lid (7) for placement on the container base (1) being embodied as an insertion element. At least one insertion element (8, 9) is embodied in a front face (6) of the container base (1) and the lid (7) is embodied with at least one insertion body (11, 12) on a front face (10), complementary to the insertion element (8, 9). The lid (7) may also be locked to the container base (1), in particular, by means of one or more clipping or locking closure connectors (13), provided on the lid front face (17), opposite the insertion connection and the front face (5) of the container base (1). Furthermore, insertion ramps (14,15) are provided on the lid (7) in the side edges running towards the front face (6) with the insertion body (11,12), at a separation from the front face, which are set back at least 10mm, in particular 25mm and preferably 50mm from the corners of the front face (10) of the lid. The container is characterised in that the field (31) for housing labels, placed in the upper region of the stacking shoulder (20), is visible with containers which are stacked.
