[origin: WO2005100422A1] The invention relates to mixtures for producing transparent plastic, which mixtures comprise: a) compounds of formulae (I) and (Il), wherein R<1> independently represents hydrogen or a methyl group, R<2> independently represents a linear or branched, aliphatic or cycloaliphatic group or a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic or heteroaromatic group and m and n independently represent an integer >/= 0, with m + n > 0, b) a prepolymer produced from polymethacrylate and alkyldithiols or polythiols, preferably HS-R<3>-SH (III), wherein R<3> is the same or different from R<2> and may have the definition of R<2>, and c) aromatic vinyl compounds.
