The inventive system is characterised in that it comprises means (6) for synchronising the operation of said first and second control means (1, 4) in such a way that the opening movements of the gripper (3) and the dumping of the handling member (2) are concomitantly carried out and the closing movements of the gripper (3) and the lifting of the handling member (2) are also concomitantly carried out. The invention can be used for trucks.
